Just a note to say how much we enjoyed our stay this past week. It was fabulous! Our room was great and was so comfortable and quaint. We absolutely loved the swing and rocking chairs facing the ocean. All of your staff were always pleasant and very helpful. the breakfast each morning was delicious. Everything was so clean and there was always plenty for everyone. Staying at First Colony mad our first trip to the Outer Banks perfect in every way. Anytime we have the opportunity to return we will definitely stay at First Colony. And, we will recommend it to anyone we know who will be visiting the area.  The Margery Harvie Room has a queen-sized Jenny Lind 4-poster pine bed, as well as a wicker daybed and trundle. The suite is on the 2nd Floor, northeast corner, on the ocean side. Room 11 connects to Room 10. The sitting area has a wetbar with a microwave and refrigerator. There is a TV, VCR, in room safe and a private bath with heated towel bar.
