Stay Friday and Saturday at First Colony Inn...June 15 & 16. Your stay must include these two nights...you may add nights if you like. Please let us know when you call if you will be extending your stay.

June 15th – June 18th, 2012

The second annual OBX Pridefest will take place June 15-18, 2012.

The 2011 OBX Pridefest was a wonderful getaway for nearly 2,000 LGBT visitors to our island. The weather could not have been better, the local support was enthusiastic and the planned events went off without a hitch.

For 2012 you are invited to come back to the OBX for four days of excellent entertainment, beach parties, a luau, and a cruise aboard the Crystal Dawn.

The Festival location is First Colony Inn in Nags Head (Pridefest Grounds)
Free parking for the festival is right across US158; between Dairy Queen and Miller’s Restaurant. Parking at the inn is restricted to guests of the inn only.

There will be a shuttle service available from 10 am to 10 pm every day. The charge is $1.00 each way.

Soft drinks, beer and wine will be sold on the grounds of First Colony Inn. Coolers are prohibited.

Evening events will be held in Nags Head. Friday and Saturday night events will be at Pamlico Jack’s Restaurant and Sunday night events at Kelly’s Restaurant. A teen event is also scheduled on the back deck of First Colony Inn.

Beach parties will be held on the beach behind First Colony Inn. Coolers will be allowed on the beach behind First Colony Inn but glass is not allowed on the beach. The Town of Nags Head does not allow liquor on the beach however beer and wine are permitted.

Drag Brunch is scheduled for 11:30am on Sunday, June 17 at Pamlico Jack’s Restaurant.

Pamlico Jack’s Restaurant is located across from First Colony Inn at 6708 South Croatan Highway in Nags Head.

Kelly’s Restaurant is located approximately 5 miles north of First Colony Inn at 2316 South Croatan Highway in Nags Head.

The Pridefest Cruise on the Crystal Dawn
The Crystal Dawn is berthed at Pirate’s Cove on the Manteo/Nags Head Causeway, just 2 miles from the Pridesfest grounds at First Colony Inn. This event sells out very quickly. This year there will be an open bar and a DJ.
