Rose Payne traveled to the United States from England in 1587. She was one of the few females of The 1587 Colonists.

One of the best Outer Banks vacations I've had in over 30 years of coming here. Loved all of the little extras--even a nightlight! Internet access in the library is helpful but wish you had Wifi in rooms. --

The Rose Payne Room features a king-sized 4-poster bed. There is a daybed and trundle as well. Other amenities include a wetbar with a microwave and refrigerator, and a television, VCR, in room safe and private bath with heated towel bar. Room 20 is on the 3rd Floor, northeast corner, with an ocean view.
