"I liked the breakfast and afternoon social. I think the room needs a bench upon which suitcases can be placed. Also the bathroom needs a table to place miscellaneous toiletries. Drapes at all the windows would provide more privacy. Right now there are blinds but they don’t hang close enough to the window."

"First Colony Inn is very authentic and comfortable. It combines Outer Banks History and authenticity with modern comfort. The staff is very polite. The Breakfasts are great. It would be a little helpful if the rooms were picked up daily. But a fine, quiet, and reasonable place to stay with a nice view of the Ocean. A nice Inn in the midst of condo sprawl further north.
